DigiTec 2025: Armenia’s Biggest Tech Event Promises Nonstop Surprises
The countdown has begun. Just days remain until DigiTec 2025, Armenia’s flagship technology event, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year with an all-new format. For the first time, DigiTec will run nonstop for three days and three nights, October 10–12, under the motto “Day and Night DigiTec.”
By day, Yerevan will host the traditional tech expo and conference. By night, the city will come alive with an unprecedented cultural program — from jazz star Tigran Hamasyan to electronic visionary Murcof.
The scale is set to impress: 40,000 visitors from 20 countries, over 100 world-class tech leaders, and 250 companies on the expo floor. The event is organized by the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE), with institutional support from the Yerevan Municipality and the Government of Armenia (Ministry of High-Tech industry).
“DigiTec 2025 will mark a new milestone for our tech ecosystem,” said Levon Hovhannisyan, Deputy Mayor of Yerevan. “Yerevan is shaping its role as a leading innovation hub of the region, and for us, making the city modern, innovative, and tech-driven is a key priority.”
The conference lineup is equally impressive. Confirmed speakers include Rev Lebaredian, Vice President at NVIDIA (USA); Jack McCauley, Co-Founder of Oculus and UC Berkeley professor (USA); and Noubar Afeyan, Co-Founder of Moderna and Founder of Flagship Pioneering (USA) — along with dozens of other global tech visionaries.
“This year DigiTec offers three pillars: our classic technology expo, a high-level conference with 100+ speakers, and hands-on workshops led by industry leaders,” noted Sargis Karapetyan, Director of UATE. “For three days, Yerevan will be the beating heart of the global tech world — with delegations from Tokyo, San Francisco, Boston, New York, Paris, Sydney, and beyond.”
Adding to the excitement, DigiTec 2025 is teaming up with the Rambalkoshe community, bringing its renowned DZEN Festival to DigiTec. Visitors can expect performances from top international DJs and a special concert by Tigran Hamasyan, sharing the stage with three other world-famous musicians. The program also includes sports and lifestyle activities — yoga, running, and more.
This year’s spotlight themes — artificial intelligence, venture capital, and the rapid growth of tech companies — will dominate both the expo floor and conference agenda. Organizers promise an unprecedented density of events for DigiTec’s 20th anniversary.
First held in 2005, DigiTec was envisioned and launched by the late Karen Vardanyan, a visionary leader of Armenia’s technology community and long-time head of UATE.
