Financial Literacy Lesson with Idram Junior
In today’s digital world, where cashless payments have become an integral part of everyday life, not only adults but also children need financial literacy and safe cashless payment skills.
As part of Idram’s financial literacy awareness campaign, a group of children from various schools across Armenia visited the company’s office to get acquainted with Idram Junior and the basics of financial literacy.
Three years ago, Idram launched Armenia’s first financial app for children — Idram Junior. It allows children aged 8 to 16 to have a personal account, make cashless payments, save money, and most importantly, develop financial literacy under parental supervision.
In addition to practical features, the app includes gamified tools that help children learn the fundamental principles of financial literacy in a simple, engaging, and comprehensible way. This makes the app not only useful but also educational.
Starting this September, the app has been hosting financial literacy competitions for students, with valuable and memorable prizes awarded to the winners by Idram.
