What side effect experience over 80% of patients with Moderna vaccine?
82% of patients vaccinated with Moderna vaccine reported a reaction at the injection site. A report on this was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
According to the report, after the first dose of Moderna vaccine, 74% of recipients reported a local reaction at the injection site: pain, redness, swelling and itching. Pain was the most common local reaction, with 78% of those vaccinated with the second dose of Moderna. After the first, such a reaction was observed in 71% of recipients.
Local reactions can provoke any vaccines, and experts say that you should not be afraid of them. This side effect is more common with Moderna vaccine, but research has shown it is present in Pfizer vaccine recipients as well.
Other researchers have found that the Moderna vaccine is effective against new strains of coronavirus from Kent and California, moreover, it promotes the production of antibodies for at least six months.
