Armenia to have trade attaché in Iran
YEREVAN. – At Thursday's Cabinet session, the government of Armenia adopted a decision to establish the post of Armenia’s trade attaché in Iran.
The reasoning behind this decision states that the creation of this post will enable to more effectively represent Armenia's economic interests in Iran, facilitate cooperation between Armenian and Iranian businesses, as well as assist the intensification of business initiatives between the two countries.
The establishment of this post of trade attaché will also provide an opportunity to receive more operative information on the economic situation in Iran, the latter’s legislation regulating foreign economic activity, as well as to provide similar information about Armenia to the interested agencies of Iran.
