Britney Spears' father says his daughter has dementia
New circumstances have emerged in the case of the struggle for custody of 39-year-old Britney Spears and her 68-year-old father.
The star's father said that his daughter suffers from dementia. He reported Britney's diagnosis in documents that are supposed to prove that his daughter needs custody.
The details of the diagnosis of the star will be told in the documentary The Battle for Britney: Fans, Cash and a Conservatorship, which will be released on the BBC on May 5.
Journalist Mobeen Azhar said Mr Spears had ticked a box saying it related to “dementia placement or treatment”.
Mr Azhar noted: “There’s only two options with that. Britney might have dementia. Now I’m not a doctor but if that’s the case, then the world isn’t aware of that. But the other option is actually more sinister.
